Ekol Ofset set out on its journey with all the excitement and enthusiasm of any youngster taking its first steps.
The company was set up as a partnership in 1978, in a 120 m² unit in Cağaloğlu, printing small boxes, brochures and catalogues.

The excitement of that first day was never lost.
In 1981, Ekol Ofset was incorporated as a joint-stock company, and started large scale production of boxes in new 2000 m² premises in Çemberlitaş.

Ekol Ofset has always worked hard to shape its own future.
Its first exports were made in 1985. In 1987, it received a "Successful Exporter Award".
It pressed forward continually with development, and today, exports account for 48% of its production. These exports go to 80 countries, including 85% to Western Europe.

The company has generated and implemented new ideas, always at the forefront of the field.
In 1987, it was the first producer of carton cups in Turkey.

Its energy in terms of providing quality and service was inexhaustible.
In 1992, the company moved to new, purpose-built 18,000 m² premises in Yenibosna.

Its committed efforts were recognised in the form of awards.
In March 1996, it received the TS-EN-ISO 9001 quality management certification.
In July 1997, it received the AIB Food Safety and Hygiene certification.
In 1999, it received a Certificate of Food Contact Material Registration from the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Village Affairs. This certificate was updated in 2009 when the company moved to Silivri.

Productivity was increased in order to enhance the company’s competitive strength.
In 1998, the company was included in the list of "Turkey’s 1000 Largest Companies" produced every year by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and it has retained that status ever since.

The company made speed and quality its guiding principles.
In 2007, it moved to premises in Silivri with a covered area of 40,000 m² and equipped with advanced technical machinery, designed by the German company Eurografica which specialises in strategic and conceptual design in the cardboard, packaging and printing sector.

As the company grew, the sense of excitement with which it approached its work created value for customers, suppliers and for its staff.
Ekol Ofset knows that trust comes from the application of quality awareness to the management field as well as from the use of management structures required by the world of business.
The expansion of the production area and the machinery park increased the company’s capacity by 100% so that, with its skilled workforce of 450, it became one of the largest and most modern companies in the sector.
